I think what you are talking about has already been done. Do a search for "non pop up lights". I think that is the same thing you're getting at.

There's a guy with a TA around my area who has done that. The conversion cost him about $1000. Looks pretty good though.

Suncoastcreations.com used to have headlight conversion kits... I don't know where they went to. They were over a thousand...

I know for a fact they have been done, for 98+ style birds...and yes they were REAL expensive...but I've never seen one done on 93-97 Style Birds...

There is a non pop up light conversion available for Vettes so there is probably one for firebirds. Here is a link to a kit for a vette from Tbyrne. It is quite expensive though, of course all aftermarket parts for the vette are very expensive. I guess people figure if you can afford a vette you can afford an expensive aftermarket.

I think the original post was refering to the 93-97 stlye firebird. We all know there are ones for vettes, and 98+ birds.

Anyone have info for 93-97 Birds.

the kits for the 93-97, well they dont exist. a few of my friends with that style TA, tried to do this, but it cannot happen, if you look closely when the light comes up and down, you will notice there there is hardly ANY room down there, so the bulbs would have to be extremely tiny, and it just wouldnt look right...

But go to a shop and talk to them on a custom job, they will tell you the same thing.
