  • WS9 hoods, Superhawk Hoods, Raptor Hoods

On LS1.com they have a group buy on hoods, it will cost 500bucks plus shipping.

The guy who makes them is Roger, who's company is US exotics, and usually he sells stuff on ebay.

His hoods are very nice, I love the Superhawk Outlaw hood, its just like a Raptor hood, but a bit higher.

Here are webshots to those hoods.

And if anyone is interested in that grouop purchase go join up.

I am planning to buy his Superhawk Outlaw hood, but he hasnt made in production yet. So I will wait.

Just want to let others know, cause a lot of people on here buy aftermarket hoods.

My what big nostrils you have. I like that hood, I'm just curious what the 2 holes up on the hood are for, they there just for looks or do they have a purpose?

hey O2Bsogood, I believe the two holes you are talking about are the heat exstractors that are marketed after the ones on the OEM firehawk hood. This same guy also makes a hood that looks like a WS6 hood, but also has those heat extractors.

Yeah those are beautiful as well, and there is a outlaw version of that which is 3 inches higher than the regular ws6 hoods, with heat extractors. Totally badass.

He is looking for new ideas for hoods, anyone got some?

I emailed him about the Superhawk Outlaw hood, and he is a really nice person. Cant wait to get my money so I can buy the Raptor Outlaw hood.

He's the guy that sells the ZL2 for the 93-97 right? Now I don't much care for those, but if he could make something similar to the 98+ Mecham hood for the 93-97 Camaro, I would buy it in a heartbeat....or however long it took me to save up a few hundred bucks.

Those are identical to the Firehawkhoods, wish they made those for my 97 'Bird. They look great, but I'm eventually going to get a WS6 hood.

Those are not identical to the Firehawk hoods, they are about 3 inches higher.

He also makes a WS6 hood with Hawk heat extractors.
