My brother just got his z06 rims on his car, since my tires are all worn out and I am not getting rims until the summer he said I could have his rims until then. We took it to sears to get his stock camaro rims, they are the 97 style, you know 5 spoke. The guys tried to put them on and said that they don't fit. I could have sworn that our cars were exactly the same, anyone have any idea why they don't fit, or should I try another shop?

just saw these pics on the forum. Those are the exact rims that I told them to put on. So wait, do the rims already have tires mounted on them? If so then you can easily swap them out yourself. I mean it takes what, all of 5 minutes to change a tire? So it shouldnt take you more then 30-45 minutes to change all 4.
And they fit fine. Its the exact same bolt pattern. yeah the rims already have the tires. I guess $15 isnt that bad. Went ahead and moved my starter wire from the back, to the front again since it had no effect on my drain on the battery. Also made me nervous driving...3 weeks ago -

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
