Has anyone ever fixed a cracked dash before or know where I can go to get it fixed? I really don't want to pull out the entire dash.

    Thanks all

Either get a new one (Very Expensive for a dash in my opinion) or just do a dash mat ($40 at most) Or ive heard of people taking them out using apoxy and wrapping them and you cant really tell. Hope this helped any lol

P.S. mine has always been cracked and one day i just pulled it all out and have nothing their anymore except a dash mat. makes easy to take out the rest of the dash for a tach install led bulbs and other stuff tho lol

      Re: Cracked dash help

i just have a dash mat on mine it hides all the cracks and living in florida thats the only reasonable option. cover with vinal will not work since if the car sits out side it can easily get over 200 degrees. i had a closed coke can explode in my car when i had the windows open. also the dash is really not hard to pull since its only held in by the a pillers. take those out it comes right off.

                  Re: Cracked dash help

Yeah, it's held in by the pillars and some Velcro. Be careful tho, when I had my camaro I tried to take the old dash out since it was cracked and it just busted everywhere. It was just brittle from sitting in the sun throughout the years.

fbodyrs96, That's a cool dash pad but the thing is where mine is cracked is not on the top it's cracked where the radio molds into the dash by the passanger side air bag in that corner. My dog decided he wanted to put his nails through it.... so now I'm trying to figure out what I can do....

                        Re: Cracked dash help

The top of the dash is easier to replace if you have a t-top car (the pillar covers come out easy).

I replaced mine years ago. I learned my lesson and now always put a sun shade in the front window every day. My dash is still in perfect shape.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

                          Re: Cracked dash help

ive debated picking up a dash mat just because, i park my car out in the sun alot and dont want to get cracks. Though ive been very skeptical about them and think they are kind of tacky. does anyone have some pictures with a dash mat?

                            Re: Cracked dash help

I purchased one of the dashmats for my car but the velcro strips provided don't stick to the dash. I used the cleaner provided by the company which was only two small wipe pads with some solution on it.
Is there some other way I need to clean the dash get the velcro strips to remain attached to the dash?
                            Any assistance would be appreciated.
