  • Subtle change to my berger panel...

Sorry Baller, but I just had to, lol.
I got a good deal on the tail panel off a black 01 SS. I had a semigloss rattle-canned one, but I wanted gloss factory paint to match my roof. Of course, I removed the red "SS" and replaced it with the silver one though. And I got the etched stainless steel camaro fill-ins from emblempros. Let me know what you guys think.

    After:

I think it looks 10x better. Also, if anyone knows how to fix the 'sag' in my rear bumper, point me in the right direction. ;)

    All feedback appreciated.

I'm really liking those etched stainless inserts. Undecided on the berger though, I'm kinda partial to the satin look, but the gloss looks good as well. I guess I could go either way, but the inserts definitely look better.

They are Magnaflows good system. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...one=all&id=116
Thanks everyone. The gloss Berger only makes sense to me. My roof is gloss black and so is my SLP ss grill. Why change the sheens if you ask me. The letters are super high quAlity steel. I love the subtle new look.

Agree with that then. No sense mixing gloss with flat when it's an accent color. then!

Uhh... It's an SS... not a v6. I have been a member here since I had my v6 though, and don't care for the 8 cylinder sites. The members suck. I like it here though.

I personally would not have noticed the difference. But you sure did a good job of it.

Yes, I know the "ss" isn't perfectly strait. It isn't as noticeable in person, but I am affraid to peel it off. I used 3m emblem glue. Would it peel the paint if I took it off to fix it? I jumped through a lot of hoops to get this panel, don't want to ruin it. Any suggestions?
