When I first bought my T-Tops from the donorcar they where tinted and dispite how crappy the tint was on them they still held up pretty good.

I do intend to go back over them soon.

Some t=tops have the dot matrix which creates the shade, such as mine and they are plenty dark enough for me. I believe there are other t tops out there that do not have the dot matrix and would be easier to tint.

In a certain year they changed from dot matrix to tinted. Not sure exactly on the year, but I think it was around 95 that they ditched the dot matrix and went to 20% tint.

My T top shades are still resting comfortably and unused in my garage.

I did the conversion, didn't think I would ever use the shades so I didn't buy them. T-Tops are awesome.
