  • Bye,Bye New Camaro

With their loyalties to foreign auto companies long demonstrated, Republican Corker
and other Dixie Republicans, G.M bridge loans appear to be dead. Wall Street investors
who bought GM bonds for ten cents on a dollar will be the big winner when they
sell off the parts of GM. The fate of the Camaro that was to be built in Canada is
apparently out of gas. Hold on to your current car it may be the last of its kind.
It may go the way of the MGB, Austin Healy, Simca and others.
The Republicans want to had Obama a nation in the same shape Hoover handed over
to Roosevelt. Well okay, the first thing Roosevelt did in the first 2 weeks of office
was to repeal Proabition and people could go back to getting high legally.
Okay President Obama....time to legalize and tax Marijuana by February 1, 2009

What the hell? Get this through your head; people have already ordered new Camaros, the car's already being produced, GM has poured a huge sum of money into R+D for the 5th gen, why would they simply cut off the project and take a loss. Either the government is going to bailout the Big 3 and prolong their inevitable collapse from unionized labor and poor business strategies, or they will file for Chapter 11, reorganize and come back a stronger company. Either way, the Camaro will see production. Now for how long, that's open to debate.

Yeah, you got it right. Everything is already set in Canada and the new Camaro is due to come out of Spring 2009.
