went to the track with the cobra tonight and got in 13! runs.

    the best of the bunch....

    run1 run2 run 3 run4 run5
    60' 2.173 2.202 2.132 2.344 2.381

    1/8 8.486 8.573 8.38 8.746 8.773

    1/4 12.843 13.216 12.733 13.143 13.125

    mph 113.47 108.35 113.99 113.10 113.57

    So in review

    best 60' 2.033
    best 1/8 8.38
    best 1/4 12.733
    best mph 113.99

all runs were one stock boost with the stock blower, not the kenne bell, and also no nitrous. running street tires. (so intake and exhaust only)

The independant rear suspension causes a lot of wheel hop which really hurt my 60' times. but I consistantly tapped 113's

What kinda of times you think you be getting with the kenne bell and the nitrous?

I just love the whine of the cobras it sounds so good. Hopefully this weekend I get to take a ride in this guys cobra, its the "Snake Bite 3 Cobra" its supposed to have like 650+hp.

The traps are good, but for your car I think they should be a little higher.

I mean I trap 111-112 NA, with a few bolt ons. I don't think bolt on LS1's should be that close to intake/exhaust '03-04 Cobra's, could be wrong though.

111-112 is pretty high for a bolton ls1...what boltons do you have?

And did you run that in summer or winter?

Good times with the cobra though...get some practice behind the wheel and you'll see mid 12s how it sits now.

111-112 isnt that high for a bolt on ls1 with a 6 speed.

hell my buddy's 99z m6 with lid and flowcrapper catback traps 109 all day.

current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

Thats true, I wasnt thinking about it being a 6-speed.
                    Good call :P

112 is still pretty stout for a bolton LS1 though...I dont think I've ever seen one trap that high with intake/exhaust, and I've seen a lot of em race :P

Maybe with an ls6 or fast intake and throttle body.

I'll have to dig out the timeslips, but I'm thinking it was around May/June of this year.

My bolt ons are LT headers, ORY and cutout, lid/pp throttle body/ls6 intake manifold. Also had the car tuned, made 348rwhp on a mustang dyno. I have since had the car retuned for a 150-175 shot and lost 4 rwhp. Race weight is around 3520.

I sold a spare tire to a guy with a 2001 M6 Z28, and saw he was at the track that very same night. He ran a 13.1@109, he was bone stock except his removal in the parking lot of jack and spare, and floor mats.

Anyways, I think the highest trap I've heard of for a stock terminator is 115-116, but from what I've gathered intake and exhaust do wonders for those cars.

I did it with a 113+ trap more than once. Good driving will get the car in the 11's. I saw a Cobra over here run 11's at 114 mph and it was bone stock. Go on a nice cold day and don't forget to put the "right" tires on the car. ;)

What year Cobra? It wasn't stock if it was '03-'04

Thats what I was thinking. I've seen modded ones (intake/exhaust/DR's) with good drivers only do low 12's all day/night.

I call :bs: on a stock one doing 11's...

The supercharged one from the factory. 04' I believe.
Showdown, just because you didn't see one do it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. But who knows... people can lie. Maybe there was a pulley swap or something. Either way, any trap above 111mph is a potential 11 second ET with the right conditions and driving.

UDLose, a bit of advice: Spool up and launch on boost for your 11's. You need at least about a 1.7 60ft.
