He's got a cold air intake, some weight in the back (PS2, integrated TVs), custom 18 inch rims. I have a 3.4 A4. I think his is manual. Who do yall think would win in a quarter mile? He's been joking lately about racing. Im not going to, but im curious as to what the outcome may be...

I would think that the weight in back (front wheel drive) and the fat rims would offset any gains from the CAI... so i'd say it would be down to driver and the stock times...

my buddy had a 98 neon rt and he barely beat me i also have a 3.4 a4 so the weight might slow him down he only wont because of weightComment

My 04 neon sxt went 15.7 w just a cold air.
R/T's have more power. Maybe 18 ish hp?
The 18's are killing him.
It will probably be a driver's race. If he can drive and he put stock wheels/ tires on he could take you.

I raced two brothers who had neon rt's one had slightly more then the stock 150hp with an intake other brother his had body kit rims, intake, chip, exhaust and stuff. Both neon's manual! Was in the middle of them at the light in my 02 v6 camaro had exhaust and intake at the time believe and beat them both and they were amazed my car was that fast for a v6 cause they thought it ran like a 16.5 or something and thought they would kill me. haha They thought wrong!Comment
