sounds good and all, but im lookin for cheap speed, i think i may be going with a nissan 240sx or a honda crx , i got a crx shell now, but im still compareing the pro's and con's of each car....

uhh, that is cheap speed. Whats NOT cheap about it?

CRX, depending on which one you get ranges from I believe something like 88hp-100hp....

Have you thought about a 80's-early 90's turbo Dodge? Those cars can be faster than anything else in their price range with the right modifications. Not too long ago there was a guy on turbododge.com that was selling his 11 second Rampage for $6,000. Before that, there was someone else selling a Shadow that ran a best time of 13.8 for just over $3,000.
                  1998 Camaro

K&N Filter, Whisper Lid, TransGo shift kit, 180 degree thermostat, Flowmaster cat-back. Headers and nitrous coming next summer.

BTW it\'s Joel R. not Jr. ;)

Well the Mitsubishi/Chrysler "Star-quests" can be considered cheap fun...just have to make sure the motor and turbo are in decent shape, or just go ahead and refurbish them (that's what I would do). Seen lots on ebay for under $2000... 2.6 liter 4-cylinder RWD with a turbo putting out more power than the camaro and weighing less has to be fun!

Mitsubishi Starion / Chrysler Conquest... from 1984(US) to 1989. The Eclipse/Talon was the lame replacement for the Starion/Conquest.

                          '88-'89 models had 188hp and 235lbft with a 3100lb curb weight...

get a fiero straight up. my friend and his dad have six in all. three in awsome condition, and three for parts. theyre cheap, autocross beasts, and if you put a chevy 350 in them and attach wings they will take off and fly
