Man is that fun. 10x more fun than drag racing any day. And even with a 6 if you're a good driver you can keep up with the v8 guys. I went with a group of 4 fbodies (all v8 but me ) My fastest time was 47.4, but if I hadn't hit a cone it would have been 46.3. Our groups fastest car ran a 44.4 so I wasn't too far behind. And I beat the v8s alot of the time. It was really a blast and I recomend it to anyone, I'll definitely do it again.

It is all about the driver, not the car.

I beat a 2002 SS Maro by 3.2 seconds at my event yesterday. It was his first time though. I thought it was great because the guy in the SS was laughing in my face about my pathetic little engine. I kept silent and when I beat him he turned red and left without saying anything.

On the other hand, there was a 2003 supercharged Mustang cobra (390hp 390tq) who is a veteran. I beat him by 3.5 seconds.

Of the 29 cars that showed up, my little v6 maro was the fastest street legal car of the day.

29 cars? Whoa. Sounds like a nice cozy event. Glad to hear that you're whoopin' everyone with the six.

It was the smallest turnout I have ever seen.

Next month, when everyone returns, I am sure I will be put back in my place.

Its nice to be able to brag though.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
