Really fun course this month at Sierra Vista. Course map (before race day changes) and results are here. Also my last event in Novice before I step in with veterans in STX.
Second month in a row I've taken top novice time in SV. I don't do nearly as well in Tucson..
For the other novices, I heartily recommend bribing top F-body drivers (even LS1 guys) to ride along with you. I probably picked up a second by getting good advice on the correct places to downshift (earlier than I was doing it) and how to run the skidpad (it was an oval, not a circle, and I wanted to be 10' off the cones at one point).
Looking at the other guys in STX, I'm gonna get killed in there until I get off my stock suspension and hard tires (RE950's are 400 treadwear) and get myself to Evolution school.
Anyone else have some good results or fun course maps to share?
