      Kansas guys,

go to www.salinascca.org and look around.

The basic drill is: show up on a race day at the site at about 9am. register and get a tech inspection for $15. drive in one heat and work the course in another.

One heat is four runs, each run is between 39seconds and 70second, depending on the track layout and type of car you are in. I am always about 3 seconds behind C4 vettes and a GTS viper with decent tires.

course working: stand in the grass next to a piece of the track and watch. If someone runs over a cone, pick it up and replace it. then radio in that a penalty has been made. It is lots o fun.

          Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
          By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
