Ok, just weighed my Weld drag lites 15 X 3.5's with the bf goodrich radial 165 80 15's on it.

28 lbs????

Hmmmm, I coulda sworn that they were lighter.

Oh well.

Once the radil tires are off I shall weigh them too

The draglites are like 7 pounds right?

So you're losing 16 pounds of weight off the front wheels?

I will confirm when I have the tires swapped.

8 lbs per side.... 16 lbs of rotating mass... all on the nose, that would be REALLY nice!

That is a very nice weight savings. I guess those Moroso's aren't rated for street use though?

Ok, mounted and balenced now.
Total weight - 23 lbs.

5 pounds of rotating mass gone per side.

That means my weld drag lites weigh 10 lbs each
My bf goodrich 165 80's weigh 18lbs each

In theory, new best curb weight 2838 but until I see it on the scales, it is a theory

Still a decent amount of weight to drop. I just lost 10 pounds from my rears.

18 pounds seems heavy for 165's.
