• New vette times... (and pics)

Ran the vette again tonight...

I cleaned the buildup on the radiator(jsut leaves and crap) and replaced the air filter with a new purolator.

Bone stock 01 C5 6-speed, 3.42s, and bald runflats

good air tonight...

1st run(i was first car down the track for the night)

60' 2.491 oops!
330 6.282
1/8 9.209
mph 84.92
1000 11.675
1/4 13.750
mph 106.54

2nd run
60' 2.256
330 5.904
1/8 8.790
mph 85.66
1000 11.239
1/4 13.299
mph 109.24(nice mph  )

3rd run
60' 2.301 (opps again)
330 5.925
1/8 8.813
mph 85.39
1000 11.266
1/4 13.325
mph 109.39 (even better mph)

4th run
60' 2.193
330 5.834
1/8 8.732
mph 85.49
1000 11.192
1/4 13.257(new best)
mph 109.56(new best)

So new best... I just wish I had some decent tires on the rear. I did manage a 2.08 60' last week in the vette. with a 2.0 and like I was running tonight, I think a 12.8 isn't out of the question. unlikely but not impossible.

13.2 bone stock is pretty good driving...

In good air they run from 12.9-13.4...depending on driver and if its a week one or strong one from the factory...

Mine is a 2.73 a4....

It went 13.5 at 103 stock in 82 degrees with 75% humidity ( over 2000 ft DA) many times off 2.1 and 2.2 60 fts...

I think that in your weather she may have squeeked out a 13.3...

Mine dynoed 299 rwhp wich is on the high side for a bone stock auto SAE corrected dyno jet.

109.5 is an awesome bone stock trapp speed and I wouldnt be surprised if she would dyno 305 rwhp bone stock...

you have an easy factory 12 second C5 with that trap speed..

Dont mod it till you make the 12's happen.

damn not bad for stock at 109mph!!

Especially considering you're only at 85mph in the 1/8th.

Keep it up.

Not bad....don't think vette's get enough credit when they run well.

yah too bad its not mine... I think it had 12s with just decent street tires not even slicks. the balding runflats killed me.
