made it to the track

i made it to the track last weekend made a few runs about 6 or so. before i started i heared grinding on the back it sounded like the exhaust. on my way home it got loud back there then i knew something was wrong but i didn't let go of the gas. got to a friends house there was gear fluid all over the road i live about 8 miles away from here. headed out of there before all was gone everytime i stop the end would dump down like i had lost it but some how i made it home. parked it the next day i jacked up the back took of the cover and there were big chucks of metal pieces from the gears missing. it sucks but it was a fun time at the track. my first time going.

i don't have the times right now with me since i'm at the library. i'll post them up when i have a chance at home.

That sucks, had you done any rear end work prior to going to the track? Or is this just out of the blue?

naw the rear was bone stock right now i have a posi just need some 3.73 gears i'm looking to get here soon.

nope no race tires yet. i was on some crappy ones that couldn't get traction.

here are a few times. remember this was with grinding gears in the back going to shyt. 96 camaro rs air intake, exhaust, m5. only have two runs i don't where my best went but it was 16.13

2nd run vs a bmw turbo (14.0621) he had problems.
