if you have long waits to stage, and have to have engine running - put your defroster on high at max heat...this forces the fans to turn on, thus cooling your engine a little.

If you have a pit wait area after your run, shut off car and open hood...try to cool that intake mani!

Hey guys, on the thing of weight reduction, what about unhooking the front sway bar?

front sway isn't just weight reduction... Its loosens the suspension, and gives the car a little bit more squat...

its a cheater way to get traction if you have lots of issues.

slick - never run the defroster as that is the air conditioner which puts water on the ground. this can be unsafe for fellow racers

I always run the A/C to keep the fans on while I'm in the lanes. I turn it off when I get to the waterbox. I could see if you were leaving puddles at the staging lights, but a few drops back by the waterbox are not going to cause any problems.

            Yes they will.

Water condensation will build up... and slowly drop down.

You do your burn out.... track is hot... ore heat under car... more potential for that water to drip down right on the launch patch of the track.

No need for the A/C on at the track
