Looking at the weather from a nearby airport, you will probably see density altitudes below sea level.

LOL, i'll get a vid of mine next time.... I have a time slip? Vermont is a ways off though.

            Best - 14.049 @ 96.44!!!

ARRRHHHH!!! It started steaming from under the hood and shut it off to put the belt back on. I could see a trail of anti-freeze from the track. I was like oh ****, great.

I pulled it up to the bathroom and filled it up with water again and started it, no leaks so i figured the over flow tank busted again. I got home and it held water just fine. Must have been the cap venting off some of that hot steam.

After the loss of fluid I called it a night. Something in the back of my mind wanted to go again and kept nagging me about it. Might have been a 13 second run? Might have been another head gasket lol?

I was running consistent 14.31-14.32 before that spinning my 60's no matter how long I warmed up those tires. I ran 104 in it and it did seem to run alot smoother.

I ran without my CAI so next friday I'll slip it back on to see if there is a difference between them.

Telling you when you run it, keep the car dead cool... lluckily the lines ar long enough at my track it cools down between runs I only once got it to bubble over once like that. It was when I went twice in one "round", a little bit after I showed up at the track so I wasn't completely cool yet.

                either way congrats...

BTW I once again would like to point out to all the people that kept tellming me over and over that pulling the belt makes me "alower" Look at the difference.

                  So close to 13s!

FWIW, depending on what time you went, the DA was ~500 ft.

                    R/T - .220
                    60' - 2.074 (FIRST EVER 2.0xx)
                    330 - 5.823
                    1/8 - 8.932
                    MPH - 79.27
                    4000 - 11.710
                    1/4 - 14.049
                    MPH - 96.44

It was luke warm when i ran it. It sat for about 30 minutes at the line while they cleaned up an accident. I think it was just a little full.

Earlier in the night on only managed about .05-8 fast than my time before on 3 runs. If I could get some DR's or slicks I could bump those numbers even lower.

My battery died as soon as I came home for some reason. I bought it from Napa 2 months ago. I was hoping i could go brag the rest of the night lol

Take the drivebelt off... The waterpump, power steering, AC, and everything take hp to be run, when you remove them you gain some hp back.

But since you are not running a waterpump your car is not running coolant through it. Also your alternator is not charging your electrical system so you need to keep an eye on everything.

Its safe to do it for a short period of time if your car stays cool. If you do make sure your car is COLD, otherwise you'll puke coolant and maybe F- something up.
