Soooo, now I am searching for a spool for my bird.

Screw LSD, I have blown up 3 so far!!!

If it can be fixed by saturday then I'll be racing next weekend.

As for nitrous...... dunno about that.... that will take some time.

    PITIFUL 125 shot times

    HORRIBLE 100 shot times

LAME day for nitrous runs for me!!!

But I won the event so who cares????

I know it is fast, it will get there eventually.

    More bugs to work out....

James, have you been looking into alternatives for a stronger LSD or something that may help you to stop breaking them? Just curious if there were stronger units out there.

I think the heavy duty Zexel-Torsen unit should be able to hold the power. I don't know how much they go for.

EDIT: Here is a link, but it doesn't give a horsepower number.

if he has gone through 3 lsd's already it is nto really worth worrying about the zexel. they are nice units for mild street cars that have smooth power delivery, nitrous is a different animal though. the sudden hit of torque kills teh diff when you have all the hook of gummy drag tires.
spools can be driven on the street pretty easily. i suggest avoiding wet days, since the wheels are locked it gets very exciting way too quickly. if you do a spool the next thing you break will prolly be an axle, taht is a much easier/cheaper repair anyway.

                      congrats on teh new times!

Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
