Ok, nino is right the 2 inch lowering springs are the suck for drag racing.

Number 2 you want to shift as late as possible w/o bouncing the rev limiter. So a 60 dollar Haran shift light would help a ton. Mine is set at 5800. NOTE: the tach might be slow in 1st so don't plan on waiting for the tach to read 5800+ b/f you shift.

    Thats my 2 cents.

I would shift a little later, 5800 seems a little crazy but I woudl also practicing your launches.

If it makes you feel any better with 3.42s, lsd, and a 5-speed, I ran a 15.456@86.82 mph

So with your current gears, and tranny I assume a 15.6-15.8 is very possible with just practice.

        Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
        By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
