So close to 14s but I only got three runs. My 60' was dropping real good with every run but I only got to make 3 runs in 5 hours. The first run I bogged at 2500RPM and the next two I spun at about 4000 and then 3500 PRM.

You can see how fast my 60' was dropping, if I had made a few more runs I'm sure I would have been well into 14s. Thanks guys for the help on the burnout, although it was hard as hell to try to hold those tires for long.

    I'll make it next time.

heck yeah. You should be able to get into the 2.0's for the 60'.... But it'll take more than 3 runs to figure out how to get there. A sub 2.05 60' should put you about 14.90 or high 14.8's. You need to find some top end to get into the 14.7's. Try 93 octane next time.

I was using 93 octane this time because I had planned on advancing the timing as much as I could with the resistor mod. It was so hot and humid that nothing would have really made a difference.

I was so pissed that I only got 3 runs in. They were sticking so well and my traction was only getting better with each run.

Seppo: By the way, are you running headers or just stock manifolds. I bought a cutout and am going to have it installed but I was waiting till I had some headers put on. Also, have you done anything with your valvetrain and heads or did you just do the cam?

Stock exhaust manifolds and stock heads. I changed to stock ls1 valve springs and ZZP modded retainers.
