  • Estimated Quarter ET?

Okay, I'm gonna try to go to the track when ever i get a free weekend, unfortunely there's not really anyone that close to me....bout 45 min to 1 hr for the closet quarter mile strip....so in peoples opinions, what do you think my et's will be near with these mods?

Intake/Exhaust: FAst Toys Ram Air, K&N filter, Whisper Air LId,
!MAF, Magnaflow Hi Flow Cat, 2.5 post Cat piping, Dynomax bullet race muffler (BTY...headers removed for blowing up one of my starter coils)

Drivetrain: Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, Center force Throw out bearing, Hurst 5 speed.

Suspension: HOtchkis springs, sway bar, pan hard rod, rear control arms.

Stock 2 peice drive shaft, more than likely 3.08 gears.

Thanks for any feedback, of course...I wanna find out for myself...but I would like somesort of Idea.

probably a low 17....jk, u either have 3.23's or 3.42's, unless u somehow managed to get a clutch to work on an automatic? bein down there u should run atleast a high 14, but with the air bein kinda bad maybe a low 15...

You have 3.23's unless you did a gear swap.

No gear swap (yet)...so drivetrain now reads,

Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, Centerforce Throw out Bearing, 2 peice Drive Shaft, 3.23 Gearing, Hurst 5 speed Shift Assembley

          If I can get high 14's/low 15's on a fairly stock v6 camaro..I'll be a happy camper :D

You're forgetting one thing, he is in Houston. If he runs at HRP he will probably get a lower time, then again there are millions of other factors out there but there is something about that track.

depends on when you race... now youd probably run upper 15s, cause of the heat. winter time you might see mid 15s. get those 3.08s out and put some real gear in there :D

I don't think high 14's are out of the question.

he has a manual so he has 3.23's. He was just guessing with the 3.08's.

Yes, I was guessing 3.08...I don't have them...I checked my tag in my door...its 3.23s...GU5 code.

Oh bty, curious, I just replaced my ghetto *** 2 peice driveshaft /w a 1LE....So not to bug everyone...how bout /w these mods :

Drivetrain: Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch and Throwout bearing, 3.23 gearing, 1LE driveshaft.

Intake: Fast Toys Ram Air, !MAF, K&N Filter, Whisper Lide

                        I DO NOT HAVE 3.08!!!!!!!! :D :D

Exhaust : Custom 2.5" Piping, Magnaflow Hi Flow Cat, Dynomax Bullet Race Muffler.

Suspension : Hotchiks Springs, Sway, Panhard, LCA's, yada yada yada

And if I put my Rksport headers back on....what kind of inprovement is that say .1 or .2 off my quarter?
