• new best at the track today

today it was unusually cold for louisiana today, so my friend convinced me to go to the track and take advantage of the awesome weather. today was the first time i ran my car with my borla exhaust. i made a couple of passes and my best was a 14.83. i knew the car had more in it than that. so i let the car cool off for about an hour. then i set my new best. keep in mind these times are just with intake, exhaust, and a shift kit (w/ v8 servo)

1/4 - 14.70
mph - 90.92
60' - 2.010

my 60' could have been a little better cuz i spun off the line a little. i easily could have hit the 14.6X's. the weather was that good. i will have a timeslip posted tomorrow when i can get my scanner to work.

p.s. - i must give a lot of thanks to jason99t/a. he has helped me install every mod i have done to my car. without him i couldn't run these awesome times in my car

What can I say.. your car is doing really well.

It's time to install the 2800 Vigilante torque converter sitting in your closet and bolt on your Nittos and shoot for some low 14s.

Then, headers and hpp3 and TNT 100 shot.. ;)

Sweet times
Congrats.
Those are some really quick times.
Any chance you have a full timeslip?
Like 60 ft, 330, 1/8 et, 1/8 mph, 330, 1/4 et and mph?
Also track conditions: temp, wind speed, rel humid etc?
Congrats again

Nah, I don't mean scan it, just post the info.
I always check the whole slip to see high mph's low mph's, off the line traction etc.
Then I try and give advice :D

Your dyno is so much like mine yet you're pulling so low at the track... I'm 100% impressed...
Maybe I just suck? :D

Very awesome times....

14.7..good run john! You had a good 60' time and that helped you out. Hopefully I can get a 14.5 when i take my car. I should take it tomorrow or next friday. Depends on the weather. Its drizzling today...so if it doesnt clear up by tomorrow I'll have to wait till next week. Which I'd rather do it tomorrow because next week is import night at the track...there will be too much rice around. Keep working on those times. Laters.

hey cardinal our dyno numbers are very similiar except your rwtq is a little better. we'll see how much lower my e/t is when you can actually make a whole 1/4 pass. ;)

by the way what is your 60' on that 1/8 pass

What RPMs did you launch at?

since i have the stock converter in my car, i was only able to launch at around 2200. i cant wait to install the new converter i have sitting in my room

no the run was made with the servo. no the run was not made with nitrous. the holley powershot is a filter (not the spray)kinda like a k&n, but i removed it when i went down the track.
