Would love to try my hand at an autocross event or 2. See how well I can fling both the cars around a course, and learn some of the weak points in the handling that I can improve upon. Does anyone know of any events around Indy that are open that I could possibly hit up?

it might just be me but i think building a track car would be way more fun than a drag car

I think once my car is back to stock I'll try some Auto-X.

i will admit autox is way more fun than drag racing but both do have there thirlls. instead of going fully stock why not tune it for esp or stx that way you don't have to fully take out all your parts. im having a blast in stx right now.

Good point, me going to stock is minus the turbo, but will still have all the suspension parts and still cammed with the VS cam, 1.7 promags, forged pistons , I just need to install some new headers and take the rest of the turbo kit off. I have some lowering springs already too , to go in.

sounds like some fun. right now i have found a posi unit im going to replace some seals then i have to get a few more supporting mods. like a tuner. i think im just going to go with the hypertech unit. i just don't want to mess with tuning my self.

I got my car lowered back down yesterday, now just need to replace the headers.
