    Finally hit 13's!! Vids to!

    Well, I finally pulled it off...and a couple of em to boot...absolute solid 60fts to....only thing is I lost about 1.5 mph, which is weird...

    Best run of the day ( breaks all my personal bests except mph) :D

    R/T... 1.212
    60'... 1.836
    330'... 5.585
    1/8... 8.777
    MPH... 76.89
    1000'... 11.569
    1/4... 13.948
    MPH... 94.58

    I was pissed because I put in too much gas and ended up racing with a half tank rather then almost nothing....

    I stiffened the rear shocks all the way up, but I didnt know what to do with the front shocks...stiffen them or loosin them?

    I'll get my video up when I get it uploaded.... unfortunatly it is about 3/4 of the run....

      Congrats! Those are some awesome numbers. Glad to see you finally reached your goal of 13s.

      Now it's time to see what that other setup will do. ;)

        Congrats on the 13 sec slip.

        BTW the fronts should be loose to aid weight transfer to the back tires,you need the front end to rise.

            Thanks....I think I have the shocks at the front set pretty stiff...so maybe I can pull another hundreth or so off my slip playing with that...4 more hundreths and Im a 13.8 lol...

            Thanks pace....the faster I can run cam only...the more it gets me excited about how much that little project will shave off time...

                Nice job; nice to see a n/a car in the 13s, it gives me hope. And yeah, could you talk to your camera man please; we'll let you slide this time but you know the run isn't official unless we see the time on the big screen :D

                As far as the shocks, conventional wisdom says soften the fronts to get more weight transfer - but are you getting wheelspin the way things are now? If not, is there any real reason to change them?

                  1.83 60ft shouldnt have wheel spin lol...I was thinking more for just weight transfer...I left them because I didnt know which way to go...the car was biting nice yesterday...just looking for ways I can pick up a few hundreths...

                  I know I gotta start getting those times up on the big screen...I got the time slips though...the fastest 13 second slip was a solo run to...

                      Could always go for a set of Drag shocks for the back. PM me for a part number to some cheap adjustable rears. Set them to 50/50 and hold on!

                        I got adjustable Kyb's back there right now...Im not sure that only rear drag shocks, and stock rate springs will go nicely together lol...

                            seats and carpet are out...A/C is gone to...no spare tire or jack...thats pretty much it...nothing crazy...
