  • Two new best times :D

Went to the drag way today. Last day of the season :( But, it was a great day. Hit my two fastest times today  Only ran twice. I was thinking about running a 3rd time, to see if I could get into the upper 13's, but I didn't want to take the chance and have a bad run and end the day bad. :) Plus this gives me some time to set and look at the HP Tuner scans to do some tuning :D

According to the info on your time slips the Density Altitude on your first run was 2497 feet and 2499 on your second. Corrected to sea level your second run would have been 13.75@102.86.

What does your car run on motor?

Running 100 shot of dry nitrous, along with several other mods. On the altitude, I think the track is at 1,475ft above sea level. I think that's the info on their website, also the track has a 3% incline, don't know how to factor that in. The pressure I have listed on my time slips is for barometric pressure. I think that is where you got the density altitude from, the pressure I have listed? Let me know :) How do you calculate on elevation?

Nice time 14.1 , you'll be in the 13's in no time, should run your 07' Suzuki GS500F out there to see what it does.

Thanks :) Yeah, the dragway will be closed until next April. I think that's when it usually opens back up... Hopefully with a little more tuning and looking at few more mods, plus maybe going up to a 120 shot. :P My goal is to hit 13.2 That would mean I would have dropped 3 full seconds from my best stock time with the Camaro there at Bristol :D

I looked on the internet, and my Suzuki is suppose to run around 14.5 or low 14's stock. Which compares nothing to what some of the bikes that runs down there. They are hitting from 9's to 11's... Crazy fast..

I thought your bike would run faster than that.

Those are pretty times. I see that a 350z did 14.7 and 15 for the V6 stang.

                  Have you ran NA?

                    Thanks :)

Not lately. The best I ever ran NA was 15.2, but cannot remember the mph. Only ran 15.2 once NA, usually hit between 15.3 and 15.5. But, that was with a poor tune. Didn't have HP Tuners then. Had the mail order tune, which I have found had several issue spots, namely one was in the timing advance area... :slap:
