yeah, so I finally saved up enough to buy a bike... Nothing special, cause i'm not all that good with riding yet. Just something cheap and in decent shape that I can learn on. I got a 1982 Yamaha XJ750 Maxim. I've been riding it whenever possible since i got it. Its a hell of a rush let me tell ya. Anyone know where I can find info on these things? It didnt come with an owners manual and I'm not all that familiar with bikes yet. Thanks!

Nice. I don't know where you can find info though. There are forums for everything these days so that would be your best bet probably.
Now you have to condition yourself to let off the throttle. It's hard but you learn.There is fast, too fast, and way too fast. Way too fast is almost fast enough.Comment

yeah, i've been looking for other forums, I was just wondering on general stuff. Maintenence, where I can find parts at, that sort of thing. And believe me, I'm staying off the throttle. Im doing my best to not lay it down, so I've kept it below 55mph all but once (and that was before i realized the speedo wasnt even close.. said 50, was doing around 65)...
