Picked up a new car Sunday

Well its not really new but I bought a 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z C/S..
Its silver, stock except for a side mount intercooler.. Has 130,000 on it.. is a 5 speed. Needs to be restored but runs and drives pretty well.. The guy also gave me a turbo 2 intake, head and turbo off a 88 Shelby Z car.. Got the car for 600.00.. Does anyone know anything about these cars?? I had a 88 daytona before but it wasnt a turbo car and I am new to the whole turbo thing.. I am also looking for some Daytona websites.. I found the shelby site and turbo dodge site too.. any info would be great..

those things can be pretty quick. a buddy of mine had one. he upgraded a few things and it went low 14s at the track all day.

The 86's were turbo 1 cars.. They are 2.2 non intercooled.. they were rated at 148hp and close to 200 ftlbs.. The guy who had it before me put a T3 turbo on it and a side mount intercooler from a DSM.. The 87-91 turbo 2 motors was the same thing just a different intake and a intercooler.. they are rated at 174hp and 2XX ftlbs..

yeah think my buddies was a 89 or 90 cant remember. he put quiet a bit of money into it iirc he put a t4 and a bigger intercooler on it along with a few other things i cant remember. it was a nice little sleeper car.
