  • A Work in Progress, my brothers trans am

    This is my brothers trans am, i'm not sure what year it is but he just dropped a new motor in it, and bought a couple thousand worth of parts for it.. he plans on making it into a summer/strip car...

    nice, but it's a 2nd gen.looks pre 75. Does the rear windsheild wrap around?

          i think your right about it being a 72.. do you guys know what kind of times a 72 trans am would put down at the track with the upgrades he has bought for it?

                            oh, BTW, after so many years... I hate to say, it wouldn't surprise me to see a 350SBC in that car being all it requires is simple [img]smile.gif[/img] But for sake of originality, lets say its a Pontiac 400 - you can tell by looking at the size of those heads.

                              heads???? they wil be about the same size, it's the width of the intake that's the real diff (and how the water outlet is situated on it's own runner in front of the main body where the carb sits
