          issue? LOL.

          issues.

it dont like water, but sits behind the water pump.

sits low where water from the road can hit it

its a pain to get off

its a pain to put on

its expensive to have someone do it for you

if you get a bad opti from a parts store or company, you get to spend another 5 hours pulling everythign off the front of the engine.

it dont like humidity at all.

god, just talking about it is pissing me off.

Re: OG checking in, Who's still around?

I thought they had a fix for the OPTI , doesn't MSD sell something thats expensive but last alot longer than the OPTI crap? I thought it was a conversion or something.

Re: OG checking in, Who's still around?

There is supposed to be a version (dynaspark gen III) out there that defeats a lot of the problems of the opti. Of course, for this opti, you're looking at around $500+. Just the distributor and no dinner after. MSD, from what I hear isn't lasting much longer than OEM due to the fact that the design just doesn't like to see anything over roughly 6K rpm.

By the way, welcome back OG!
