G8 Firehawk?? NO!

Have you heard this from SLP? They are comming out with a G8 Firehawk. If you ask me its a bastardization of the name and it waters down its meaning. It doesn't even make sense? The G8 has absolutely nothing to do with the Firebird, so why call it a Firehawk? Why not a G8 GTX or something like that. Not only that but the G8 is bombing in sales...good luck SLP.

well, seeing as how SLP owns/converted models into the Firehawk, they can pretty well do what they please. it's a buyers (after)market. Just think though, a magnussan sitting on top of a G8 GXP.

what I don't get is that the G8GT has a 6.0 and is rated fewer hp than the GTO w/the same frikken displacement. WTF???

The name G8 Firehawk just sounds weird to me. Firebird and Firehawk make sense as bird is generic term and for the special model they called it a hawk which is a predatory bird but how does Firehawk relate to G8?
