  • Well, I wanted a Lotus but...

Thanks to Udlose, I got the serious itch to buy a Lotus, and have been looking across the country over the past month.

Then my student loan lenders called me up about 15 min ago and told me I missed a payment, because the morons never sent me my statement this month requesting payment. So they p*ssed me off and I paid off the entire school loan instead. I had 18 years of payments left.

Here's to making smart spending decisions! Now if only the rest of the US followed these footsteps... :)

I know you guys prob dont give a sh*t, but im patting myself on the back, lol.

How much money was it... student loans are the one loan I wouldn't be in a hurry to pay off.

I was only making payments on it to build credit. My score is 776, so that's not even a good excuse. It was enough to outright buy a Lotus, and with an interest rate at 9% and variable, that's a lot of wasted money per month. I can't really imagine why paying it off was not a sound economic decision...

For real kiddies... Fill out those scholarship forms. Its worth it, lol. I wish I did. Or tmon, thats a good idea... get school paid for. You know what else is smart, going to a two year school, then transferring to a 4 year college to finish your degree. That will save you an a*sload, and you still graduate from some prestigious college. Wish I did that too, and I'd be driving a Lotus right now, haha.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
