Pop is a sound, and it doesnt go pop when you open it, it goes FISST.. so if you want to be politically correct, start calling it a fisst.

Soda pop is an ice-cream drink... back when they added soda water to ice cream to give it that fuzz... so that name is already taken..

Your soft drink was produced with SODA water, therefore its Soda... anyone that says different is a red neck and are in denial. lol

This thread came up a couple years ago IIRC. I say pop but when around people from south have been known to say soda, never say Coke when I want a Mountain Dew though. Thats just blasphamy
