  • Hello Everyone!

    Hi!

I just recently joined camarov6 forums and decided I should try and get to know everyone.

I bought a 1998 Chevy Camaro from my good friend. It was in very bad condition, but after alot of hardwork, money, and patience I got it back to working condition.

    Here's how it currently looks:

I'm planning on doing some body modification and in the future, once I learn more about it, some mods under the hood.

Anyone with ideas please feel free to let me know. I'm totally new to the F-body so any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks everyone!

Hey, nice car, and welcome. First thing I noticed for something to do would be black berger panel with white inserts or something. seems too white in the back. Also, whats up with the front quarter panel in the last pic, looks a little weird...is it new when you had to fix it up or something?

    Good luck

Yeah I'm in the process if getting these silver lettering inserts for the back it'll have this reflective material so it'll be pretty awesome at night hehe. When I got the car, the front bumper, the hood, driver side and passenger side fender were extremly damaged. They were scratched up and dented beyond crap. When I had them replaced I painted them with some left over paint but it turned out they were a different shade of white so thats why it sort of stands out. I'm going to get the whole car painted later on so it doesn't bother me that much. Thanks for the insight!

Oooo can you give me some insight on performance? I really want to get it to handle better and remove it from the "stock category" but I'm really not sure what to do.

hey... welcome :wavey: i think youll fit in good here...
              for appearance i would do:
              paint (probably not white)
              rims
              your silver rear inserts
              lowering kit
              racing stripes
              billet grille

              for preformance:
              CAI
              Cat-back
              high flow cat?
              aluminum driveshaft
              headers
              and tune it

thats about all i can think of at the moment
but all depends on how much money you have...
if your rich and looking to blow money, you could give it some nitrous... :naughty:
