  • Warnig!

As I was starting to strip down my engine area and getting ready to pull my spark plugs I noticed my jack had a very bold Warnig label.

I instantly grinned with how silly this mistake was but then a very horrifying realization draped over me. I'm using a jack with matching stands made by a company whom cannot spell "Warning", to protect me from being squished.

    Awesome.
That is with the utmost sarcasm I can depict with text.

The question is though, who's dumber? Because that didn't stop me from crawling right under there, whackin and smackin away on any bolt or nut that didn't want to budge. Ehh.

I geuss it will be ok, apparently they pay attention to the smaller details. Look at the bottom of the sticker. They got that one right but.. Not the huge one!? I do love mass produced mispellings though. I'd say I have an eye for them but I only noticed this was mispelled after using it for over a year. I was probably concentrating on making sure nothing was going to fall on me.

Who's dumber, the morons who misspelled warning, or the moron using a 3000lb capacity jack on a 3400lb car?

I personally can't think of a single time when the entire weight of a car would be supported by a single jack point.

But I bet you can put around 2700 raising the front end of an F-body, depending on where you jack it up at.

Nvm....I didn't think people were willing to teeter with these things and push them to their limits.
