drifting is for the "culture" that has popped up around the fast and the furious movies... powersliding was what it was called before jazzed up little tuner cars started drifting around tracks

cause the tv said drifting is cool....but than again if you watch the fast and the furious they do rear wheel burnouts with fwd cars, and they also say if you do a burn out when the race starts you'll fly out in front of everybody and go crazy fast

in the last movie they pretend to drop a 4 cylinder nismo engine in a mustang and race it but for the actual race the mustang has the original v8 in it
