what would you to your car......i dont know what id do...im debating on whether to make my car faster or use that 2k towards a street bike....im in a pickle

That would depend on the current mods on your car and your goals for it.
A newer 600cc street bike will be faster than your car ever will, but also more dangerous and only usable part of the year.
IF I had a stock 3.8 Camaro and $2000 That I had to make it faster:
First I'd hope it was a Y87 so I had 3.42s and LSD
I'd probably buy everything used to begin with, but here goes!
SLP Intake - $150
RKSport Headers - $300
Straight Pipe - ? I know a shop ?
Flowmaster 3" Catback - $250
Automatic - Stall converter/Manual - Spec/Centerforce clutch - $500
Dry Nitrous Setup - $400
Drag Radials on Salad shooters - $300
Lower Control Arms - $100
Total = $2000 and I estimated on the high side on some of that used........because you still need gaskets, fluids, etc.
Stock to solid 13 second car 2k possible 12s depending on nitrous shot and racing conditionsComment

i probably wouldnt do anything performance wise, maybe a nice set of rims, tires, and brakes.
i know im going to get flamed for this, but i would never put any performance mods on a v6 camaro, unless they are transferable to an ls1Comment

3.4 start rebuild engine and trans, 3500 top end swap, cam, lifters, headers, shift kit for the trans and aluminum driveshaft.Comment

i have a 3.8 01 camaro...i ahve a magnaflow 2.5 exasut and lid...im leaning towards a cam ....but would 2,000 be enough for it and supporting mods?
im thinking about this cam..

I've got the GT2 cam. Total for the install for me was just under $1K, including gaskets and all. If I were you, I'd also get a used set of heads to clean up, or even have a machine shop port abit. Then gasket match the intake manifolds, and use the remaining cash on a tune. Boom, 13 second car, easily.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
