I saw a thread on another forum that people were talking that while the concept is rear wheel drive if it made it to production it might be made FWD and made in china

Bringing that car to market as FWD would be the dumbest thing they could possibly do. They might as well end the production line at a junkyard so they can smash the cars as soon as they roll out the doors.

The competition in that segment is too good to bring in something halfassed. It's going to take something pretty amazing to knock the Miata off it's thrown.

i was reading, i think automobile mag, and they did a track test with that along side a miata. it did pretty well. but it's not overwhelmingly awesome so it'll probably fail.

Why is everyone saying it's FWD?

I didn't read the whole article that was posted, but I can tell you from other things I have read that there is talk about Chrysler making it fwd to cut costs.

I think chrysler will eventually kill off the whole dodge brand and take the ram and make it a chrysler something or other (Like they're gonna do the 'Cuda if it comes out) Chrysler cuda FTL

i saw this thing, i think this is going to be their replacement for the viper... more affordable, marketed toward a younger more middle class crowd. why not? they're not selling vipers like they are chargers, thats for damn sure.
