Merry Christmas Everybody,
I have been attempting to post an intro thread for like 3 days! I guess I had not been cleared to post or something. Oh well.
My name is Ben. I drive a 1997 Firebird L36 A4. I've owned the car for going on 3 years and let me just say its been an emotional journey all the way. After rebuilding it after 2 accidents, neither my fault, and a huge hail storm, it is finally getting back to some semblance of order. The car is currently at the body shop awaiting paint. When the car is done, it will be Red / Black dual tone with a metal flake when I am done. Should look hot with all the exterior add ons I put on to it. Hell I just got the WS6 Hood for it last night. I am still waiting for the cash for one last thing that will really set the car off. But thats another day.
The current exterior mods I have done include:
WS6 Hood (sitting in my dining room)
Trans Am Side Skirts (Sitting inside the car)
WS6 Rear Bumper (installed)
Trans Am Hatch (installed)
Trans Am LT1 Tailights (installed)
Trans Am 16" Chrome Wheels (installed)
Not to mention the pass. fender, pass. headlight and assembly, hood, drivers quarter, front bumper cover, foam and support as well as the headlight mounting support that I had to get fixed.
Besides appearance, the car is mainly stock. I do have a rear axle off a '94 trans am A4 waiting to go on which is sweet. I think I am going to like Posi and 4 wheel ABS. The performance plans for the car include a turbo / tt intercooled and N20 built motor and a beefier trans. But all around I think I should be able to break into the 12's with it and thats fine for now.
