how much does a camaro/firebird cat-converter cash in for??

today, this recycling place only offered me 15 dollars for one. thats here near Gainesville, FL. back in Tampa,FL where i used to live...a place used to give me around 100 for a camaro/firebird cat

How used is it? What kind of condition is it in? And quite possibly they don't really need any at the moment because they have plenty more and aren't willing to give top dollar for it since they have others.

And I really don't see a recycling place giving you 100 bucks for one, that's pretty steep for a recycling place. Maybe a salvage yard would, but I don't see a recycling place giving that. The only time I've walked away from a recycling place with anywhere near 100 or more is back 3 years ago when America had a shortage on steel and were having to buy it from China, they were paying top dollar for it then. And when I used to work in the electronics business and I had left over copper wire from a job, they pay nicely for that as well.

well..i only got 15 for my firebird cat. good condition. and 5/each for my 4 mustang cats (small ones). i think its cuz i live in a small town called Starke..if i would've went to Gainesville,FL.. i probably could've found a place to give me 50+ for the firebird one.. so i got 35 dollars out of 5 cats. i needed money for gas so i had to do it. i wish i would just sold the 4 mustangs cats and kept he firebird one..since i got around 100 for my camaro one back in tampa (like 6 months ago)
