  • Possibly selling the Camaro and getting a new used car. Thoughts?

Well... As much as I hate to do it, I may be selling the Camaro. It's done me well and I've enjoyed having it. I just got a new job and from how I understand it, I'm making about 800-900 every 2 weeks. Yeah, I know. Not a lot. But it is for me. :P This is my first full time job working 40+ hours a week. My last manager obviously didn't understand my situation. He had me working 24-32 hours a week at 6.50/hr. I wasn't making 5h!t. Possibly 200 or so every 2 weeks. Making near 1k in the same amount of time is a big jump. Anyways, back to my point. I'll be selling it for $2500. Making the amount of money I will be, I can afford to make payments on a new used vehicle. I don't want to spend any more than 14k. Another Camaro (Z28 or SS most likely) isn't out of the question. What I'm looking for is one of the following:

Camaro - preferably 99-02, SS or Z28 preferred, but a 6 is fine.
Firebird - any 4th gen year.
Trans Am - any 4th Gen Year
Mustang Cobra - I'm actually looking at one now. It's here
    Maybe even a Mustang GT.
(I'm not crazy about Ford, but I'd drive the right Mustang.) :D

What else, guys? Any other ideas? I want something along the lines of what I listed here. Any thoughts on this?

out of my price range, I'm pretty sure of that. XD I'm looking on ebay now. They're running about 18-19 for the 03 and 04 model.

I have a '98 V6 5 speed 'maro that I would part with if offered the right price. Wife might kill me, but it depends on the price.

              92k miles.

I'd buy that Cobra, good price and it looks amazing. Theres nothing wrong with a GT. LS1 Trans Ams are sexy. I'd either go for an LS1 Trans am or Cobra.

                          1. It's a newer model. 2. Almost half the miles. 3. I'm betting in better condition. What more reasons do you need?

If you are willing to fix it, I'll sell you mine...

and going form a 3.4L to a 3.8L is a pretty big difference.
