  • so my problems are bigger then expected...

    yeah put everything back togher...

    new oil, new coolant fired her up....


    smoke coming out radiator cap(car is cool) and puddles coming from exhuast everywhere there is a seam.


    And the motor is knocking.

          Did you take the MAF off of your car? Has nothing to do with your problems metioned just wondering.

                  when it overheated, was just above 210, no higher, but even then its going to be hot to the touch.


                  as for when I fired it up... it was cool to the touch... car was on for less then 1 minute.

                      You got the car hot or ran it lean, etc and it seems like you have a severly blown headgasket or cracked head.

                      The knocking could be from water in the cylinders (bending a rod), or a bad bearing, etc, etc, etc.

                        no wondering if I sell the car as a roller, fix it, or part it out...



                        as for now, definitely driving the Mustang Selling anything car related I can to round up cash...


                        Even considering ditching both the cars and getting something new.
