  • t-tops Question

    I want to do a t-top conversion on my car. here is my question. I found a pair of t-top for 125 but he says there no keys for the locks. will i be able to use them with out the keys? or where can i buy a set of keys or can a lock smith make a key for them? also where can i buy the weather stripping for it? thanks in advance

    Locksmith for the key...
    Dealer for weather stripping...

          I don't think I've ever locked my T-tops... unless you live in a high-crime area or are just paranoid, I'd forget about the keys. That is, of course, if the T-tops come unlocked.

            i lock myne all the time... dont want them to fly off

              they only fly off if their not latched.. the lock itself just locks the latch, not the actual ttop. talking from experience, the latch is what matters lol

                My T-tops won't unlatch unless you pull pretty hard on them. Don't think that'll happen anytime soon.

                  I never understood the lock... I mean if someone is stealing your t-top, they are already in your car.


                  aother option is take all the pins out... I pulled like 2 pins on my t-top locks, and rearranged the rest and my door keys worked.

                  never lock them though.
