look what i found in my upper intake

well when i had my nitrous(yes 2) i blew both of the mass air flow screens, and blew both of the throttle body to pieces also. so i thought that i had a leak between my upper and lower intake. so i decided to take off my upper intake and valve covers last night. well when i took off the intake this is what i found..... yes that is the mass air flow screen wedged in there. and then when i dumped it all out this is some of what i caught. there was about 10 more little pieces that fell out onto my lawn. well now i know what beat my spark plug to pieces!!!! thank god that i took this apart. just think that i had my back fires back in the early march. this car isn't my daily driver but it has taken a trip up to nh( which is like a 800 mile trip). i think that i got a little lucky!

whats the little pieces? is it the MAF screen?

That's weird. My MAF screen doesn't look anything like your's. Mine's mounted in the throttle body and it's round. :D

i'd do a leak down test.

this will make sure no valve's got bent,

Yeah.....kinda have to agree with this one......

That leakdown test is almost needed at this point, you can't be sure what got beat up inside of that engine.
