  • V6 to V6

1992 Black Pontiac Firebird...TA style gold wheels, ground effects, ttops, 3.1 V6, 4spd auto, dual outlet muffler...

the bad...front bumper, rear spoiler, and rear bumper paint is faded...needs brakes (including calipers), power windows dead, interior has some flaws...

$800 sound like a good price for this?

It starts right up and runs great, no evident leaks or mechanical problems...also, was there a Appearance/Performance V6 package for 1992? It has all the goodies, but I dont know if they came on every firebird of that year or not

The guy had it listed for $2,000 which is almost laughable so I dont know if he'll budge anymore...

I'll do my best to get it down...

unless those gold wheels are made of 24 karat gold, that car isn't worth $2000

              yep, 100% agree...

              kbb says 1,600 in fair...but it's still a V6...

I'm gonna offer the guy 650

yea, but what you listed isn't what I'd call "fair" condition. If he starts going off about how it's worth over a grand, tell him selling a car isn't about getting what it's worth, it's finding someone to pay that....and no one in their right mind is going to pay 1600 for a 15 year old, 100K+ mile V6 with a beat exterior and interior.

I paid $2600 for mine, but it was low miles and looked like THIS

He was asking $3300, KBB was $2400, settled on $2600. It was worth it to me, the owners manual is in the door in the pic as you can see and it came with the origional window sticker ($14599 new). Put $1000 into it and it's now as fast as it looks.
