Man, college isn't anything like high school. You'll be fine.

college is the **** man. Don't get an apt at first though, live on campus. HS is a dump compared to college.

Why? Most likely its a dry campus, and if the RAs are ****s, it won't be any fun. You will end up going to different apartment complexes anyways, so might as well join the club.

Sneaking in booze is half the fun. I loved living on campus, being surrounded by friends, people dropping in all day every day, drinkind and stumbling home without worrying about driving. Campus living was awesome. The school I went to had on-campus townhouses, so after freshman year, I didn't live in a dorm.

                            Re: I graduate today

I agree, live on campus for your first year.

Like earlier stated u will be going to different apartments, so u can just ask those people how they like living there instead of being the test dummy

IMO u meet alot of your friends u keep thru college and beyond your first year, and its easiest to meet them in ur dorm cuz everyone is kinda in the same boat, curious and nervous to meet new people

first day of living on your own, dorm or apartment is so much fun...u meet tons of new people and most likely will get invited to like 10 parties with people u dont even know, but will probably turn out to be a cockfest anyway

If u live in a dorm hopfully the floors are co-ed :)

and no matter where u live, the 2nd floor is ur friend, off the ground from people robbing u easily, not hard to move into

most importantly, just have fun with it

the bigger ******* u are, the more people like u, so be the biggest ******* u can be

                              Re: I graduate today

congrats. i graduated last year, it was a great feeling being done with all that ****. college is amazing. i agree, live on campus youre first year. an ap.t would definitely be nice because you dont have to deal with RAs and stuff... but as speedingfirebird said, all that stuff is half the fun. i lived in an all freshman dorm, so it was completely "dry". security walked through a few times every night to try to find kids drinking.... i didnt get a single alcohol ticket all year. its not as bad as it sounds. and living on campus is really the way to meet people, assuming you arent going into it with a group of friends from highschool. but even so, youre going to want to branch out.
