  • Borla Adjustable Exhaust??

Ok i just bought my z28, and it came with tht borla exhhaust. But its not That loud! So i read it was adjustable, and tried getting those bolts of too take out the plate he had in, but their like rusted on. Will it be a noticeable difference to run an open plate (loudness wise) or should i not bother with gettig them bolts off, cuz man their insanely stuck on there

Use penetrating oil on the bolts, they will come off. Taking out the plate will make the exhuast louder, yes.

PB-Blast will get them loose. It will be a lot louder with that open. On the V8 it sounds pretty good with it open as long as you still have your cats in.

        By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
