Is this a ok deal on a 93v6 firebird??

Hey im thinking of buying this v6 93 firebird for about $3200..the body has the usaul dings and dents but not bad, the int. is in almost perfect mint condition. has 111450 mile on it and is a auto. i test drove it and really like it. ive always wanted the WS6 but after driving the 3.4 v6, the v6 is MORE then enuf for my driving style. im not looking for a race car, but i want a car with a lil more "get up and go" then my 4cyl probes got. so do you think its worth it???

its got power everthing, power seats..got a smallexaust leak outa the passanger side manifold but not bad, when i stompd on the pedal the service engine soon light came on(i think its a exaust sensor but dono).

I recently bought my 1993 Firebird 3.4 V6 for $1,800. It was in about the same shape that you are describing. I think it is too much.

I don't know your area, but that seems like a really high price. Check KBB for your area. In general you can get a pretty good condition high milage 3.8 for that kind of money.

x2. 93 v6 firebird with 114k miles and ses on, you shouldn't pay more than 2000 for that car. if you really like the car 2200 max. for 3200, you can get a 3.8 that has the same amount of miles. Where are you? btw, welcome to the site ;)

For that car and the condition you are describing it is in, no matter what area you hail from, that car is overpriced. And you say you want a car with some get up and go that's better than your 4 cyl., well getting a 93 3.4L isn't going to be much different in the get up and go section of your Probe.

Get the 3.8 that's in the For Sale section of the forums for 2k. Much better deal, and much better engine.

yea ive decied im gonna pass on it, for one i think its got a blown head gasket/cracked head.. but thats neither here, nor there, or anywhere. id like to buy one of these on here but i just dono how to get it here cheap enuf....living in Montana really sucks.
