i love my 99 SS, but i admit i was really hoping to get into an 05 GTO myself.. damned insurance rates.

Not a fan of the GTO look, and I don't know why everyone drools over the interior. It's ok. What I really like is the powertrain. I think I could deal with the other stuff just for that. Congratulations, I'm sure you'll enjoy it immensely.

Thank you everyone! I will give it a waxing with Zaino once this damn cold weather and SNOW leaves our forecast! Yes...Snow! We're in April, and expecting a coating to an inch overnight!:cry:

The difference (with the indep. suspension) is amazing! I just wish I would have done it sooner. Oh, the hp increase is very nice too. :D

yeah, LSx motors have a tendency to reposition you in your seat whether you like it or not. it gets kind of annoying when you've found a comfortable slouch position, but you need to get on the throttle. you can tell when i'm about to pass a few cars on the freeway because i sit-up just before i nail the gas.
maybe that's just the camaro seats though.

No kidding, flooring it on the freeway is mostly just the sound of the engine, doesn't put you back in your seat at all. Even with 3.42s. :(
