        i'm pretty sure putting new emblems and a couple other things is not the 'radical rethinking' they need

                      The Ford Taurus saved the American auto industry at one point...just like Lee Iaacocca (sp) did with the Chrysler K cars. They were ugly as hell, but the sold like crazy. Makes me wonder why GM decided to kill the Grand Am, it sold like hot cakes for a long time and they killed it for the ugly G6.

                        G6 is not ugly sorry, the coupe is hotttt.

                        Also I think this is a huge sign of desperation on Ford's part.

                          ford is in the hole so bad, i doubt anyone will/could buy them out.

                          i could see the mazda 6 as the new platform for the 2010 mustang, though.
